Quest Open Float Pool w/ filtration engine
Quest Open Float Pool w/ filtration engine
The Quest Open Float Pool gives guests a completely open float: no lid, no door, no enclosure. It is the easiest way to welcome first-time, anxious, or claustrophobic floaters, and it brings a spa-like centerpiece to your room.
This listing is our standard-size open tub with filtration and control system. Larger open pools, including the 10-foot Serenity Pool and pools sized for two, are available by quote.

Why an open float pool
No claustrophobia. Nothing closes around the guest, which removes the biggest barrier for new floaters.
Accessible. An open design makes entry and exit simple for a wide range of guests.
A room that sells itself. Open pools photograph beautifully and anchor a premium float or wellness room.
Same commercial filtration as our enclosed tanks: an NSF-50 filter and UV-ozone system, with the Unity controller standard.
The open pool lineup
Open Float Pool for One: about 4'6" x 8', 193 gal, about 825 lbs Epsom salt
Open Float Pool for Two: about 6'6" x 8', 271 gal, about 1,155 lbs Epsom salt
Open Floataround: 8' diameter, 317 gal, about 1,320 lbs Epsom salt
Open Serenity Pool: 10' diameter, 434 gal, about 1,800 lbs Epsom salt; ships in segments and is bonded during installation
All open pools spread their weight across the floor at under 0.5 psi.
Room requirements
Because the solution is open to the room, open pools need a dedicated humidity and temperature control system. We engineer the room system with you as part of your build-out.
Filtration and controls included
Every pool includes our 1 Micron Peroxone Filtration Engine, a commercial filtration system with an NSF-50 filter and a UV-ozone system. The Unity Control System runs lighting, music, heating, and filtration and can operate up to six tanks from one station.
Frequently asked questions
Is an open pool as effective as an enclosed tank?
Guests float in the same Epsom salt solution. The open design trades full sensory enclosure for comfort, which many first-time floaters prefer.
What room do I need?
A room with dedicated humidity and temperature control. We help design it.
What's included in the price?
The standard open tub, the 1 Micron Peroxone Filtration Engine, and the Unity Control System. Larger pools are quoted separately.
How long does delivery take?
Typically 4-6 weeks from order.
